The many mysteries of Church life

Recently the following thoughts have come to mind:

The church is one of the biggest public buildings in Headingley and yet probably has the fewest daily visitors

To encourage people to come into the Church we need to begin leaving the Church

Unlike shops who see each other as competition Church's work well together ecumenically

People enjoy coming to Church but are equally anxious to not stay too long

I wonder why these things have come to become so and working together how can we change them?
